You won't need to unlock it just factory reset it.
If you look at the back of the router next to the power cable there is a small hole to factory reset it you will need to poke a pin or paperclip in there and hold it for about 5 seconds then it should reboot and be factory reset.
Then assuming your pc is connected to it via network cable it's default IP address should be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
This will probably be on the sticker underneath the unit. as will the default user name and password. so just type the IP address in a web browser and log in to configure.
The link to the manual is here.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to connect kodak ESP 1.2 printer to sky netgear router dg934g

The ESP printers won't work wirelessly. This is a limitation of Kodak. Do yourself a favor and get a laser printer with a network card. Best decision I ever made to scrap the Kodak. It was always running out of ink in a week or two, even if I didn't print anything anyway...

I have been offered a Netgear N150 DGN1000 Wireless ADSL modem Router new for only £25.00 from a friend, however it has a sticker on the box that says ''For BT Connections''. I wanted to know if this...

Well this product DGN1000 is a generic router supplied by Netgear and can be used with any ADSL/DSL ISP. Please ensure that you upload the latest firmware for this router from the netgear support site and then you can use it with other ADSL/DSL ISP.
Hope this allows you to resolve the issue. If you need further assistance then let me know.

HI,
If your trying to upgrade the firmware from netgear website then it won't work,Because SKY is using there own software. So might be your router is faulty.

Does the netgear dg834g work with sky broadband

Thats an ADSL modem/router, so would be used via the telephone line In fact this is the standard router often supplied by SKY DG834GT
theres a number of answers here on the sky site for setting up a router http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/skyhelpcentre/producthelp?nodeId=25126ec2-287b-4e70-9014-967423a8dbf1

Sky branded Netgear DG834GT router

OK - it can be very simple to do, but took me two hours to work out ;-)

Google for all the info you can.

Download the recovery utility from Netgear.
Download the latest OS from Netgear.
Flash the router with the OS.
Enter the router config panel.
Change the Sky login and password to the ones given you by your ISP.

That should be that.

Keep trying: I did, I'm no expert, and I got there.

Do everything you can to a*sf*ck Murdoch and his company.
