Question about Dell Inspiron 1545 Notebook
If you know that it IS genuine Windows 7, and you see this message a while after rebooting, it's because the Software Protection service is set to Manual or Disabled. It's default setting is "Automatic (Delayed Start)". Step by step instructions to reset the Software Protection service using the Services console (services.msc)

i used to get that also, I wrote down windows numbers from windows sticker on the side of machine, (needed magnifying glass) and went online to windows verify, after they scan it, it came out good
