Reformat the player IN Windows Media Player - not on the computer itself. Then reload all the songs.

How do you put music on the SD memory card ? The memory on the player is full but I'd rather have all/or additional music on the memory card

Create a folder named "MUSIC" on the card and put the music in there. You can do that with the operating system's explorer, simply drag&drop.

If you put stuff on multiple cards, you can then swap them out easily when you get tired of one type of music.

I JUST BROUGHT ME A SYLVANIA 1 GB MP3 PLAYER AND IT WILL NOT LET ME PUT MUSIC ON IT AND WHEN I TRY TO PUT MUSIC ON THERE IT SAY IT IS FULL WITH ONLY TWO SONGS ON THERE

It could be a simple hardware malfunction. Was there a certain kind of software that came with it? If so, use the CD and try. Or try formatting the device than try putting media onto it.

the music format won't be acceptable by the player

Cant put music on it

You can format the player in Windows Media Player itself.

Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
