I need to reset my lamp counter on my projector pt-lc56e but i dont know how please help me

After changing the lamp you should be able to turn on the projector and it should run for approx. 10 minutes, allowing enough time to reset the lamp counter. Hit "Menu", select "Option 2", hit enter, which will bring up "Lamp Runtime", press and hold enter button approx. 3 seconds. The selection will change to "Time Reset (Power Off)". Turn off the power and it will reset.

I have two Panasonic PT-LB10VU projectors doing the same thing. They project find with RGB, but when trying to project a VHS tape through video, the image rolls or has multiple lines running through it. ...

first of all you replace the present video driver VHS tape and try any other dvd driver or any other video device if problem exist then the main board of you projector is faulty.

Solution: open the upper over remove 5 screw back side of projector.
disconnect the panel ribbon cable.Remove lamp cover with 3 screw remove main board with 4 screw and 8 connector. put it face down on a table and use a table lamp for more light.
check very carefully the area I show in the picture with red arrow there is a resistor no.R041(on resistor 750) is burn out or black replace witch 75ohm resistor and check around the resistor if burn any other component replace with the same after repair of main board fix the all part of projector as you open. Power on and use any video device other than your VHS tape maybe the high voltage comes on video output.
if fault exist then need to be replaced the main board. good_help_11.jpg

Panasonic projector TV PT-43LC14 has a light yellow splotch on the left hand of the screen. Can this be fixed?

yes and no. it is a burn spot on the light filter on the blue lcd panel due to excessive dust and heat. panasonic does not sell individual parts of the optical engine, so you'll have to replace the entire engine. to avoid it happening again or getting worse, keep the projector cool and dust free. use canned air to blow it out.

It seems there could be a number of problems causing this. For the PT-LB10 series, there's a service manual at

Optoma h27 colour issues

Check to be sure that the projector is in the correct mode. If it is expecting an RGB signal and you send it (Y,Pr,Pb), you will see the picture as you describe. The same works for the above reversed. In all likelyhood, you are sending RGB and the projector is expecting the other.

Panasonic PT-LC56E projector

that projector has not been made for some time (7-9 years I believe) so there are probably several thousand hours on the projector, and at about 2500 to 3000 hours your panels start to fail,, sounds like the LCD panels are warping, and you are loosing convergence.

that projector would cost about $500.00 to replace with a newer brighter unit, with a new warranty.

but the "E" means this unit is for europe only, so your prices may vary
