I don't know if this will help but I remember seeing a site that talks alot about older saws like the 103. it was under antique/vintage bandsaws. also bobvilla.com may help. Good luck its a good saw.

Any luck finding parts for your saw?If not, would be interested in buying a couple parts from your machine IF you have given up on repairing it. John Jscheb2000@yahoo.com

Drive belt slips off my 12" craftsman band saw

Try replacing the belt on your band saw. Check and verify the pulleys are the right size and properly aligned.

Possible reasons why the drive belt won't stay are : the belt could be old or worn, you have the wrong size of the
belt.
Also check and verify the pulleys are the right size and properly aligned.

Saw blade keeps coming off

check the blade pulley tires. and which wheel does it come off from. If the front you might have a loose axle or the pulley support might be bent. If from the rear again you might have a loose axle. there are sleeve bearings in the pulleys that might also be worn. There are other areas but this is the first place that I would look. Let me know if you need more assistance

I have an older 14 inch Delta, The blade runs on the outside of the pully's, I have tried adjusting the screw to the point the pulley rubs against the back of the machine, Replaced the tires also.

I had the same problem with a band saw I own (not a Delta) I removed the pulley and used a washer of the appropriat size to act as a spacer. It moved the pulley out for enough to stop the rubbing - not sure if this will work in your case.

My band saw (craftsman 12" tilt head) stopped

Hello'
I have the exact same saw. It sounds like the key stock came out of the pulley attached to the lower wheel. I will give you a quick rundown.
-unplug saw
-you will have to lay the saw on its side so you can remove the motor and drive belt.
-there are 2 seperate pulleys , the one connected to the motor and the one connected to the bottom wheel.
-loosen motor nuts and remove motor, pay close attention when removing motor 3 of the 4 studs have sleeve like spacers.
-once motor and belt are out of the way check the pulley on the bottom wheel,my guess is that the key stock came out and the pulley spins freely.
-loosen set screw, replace keystock and tighten.
-NOTE the keystock may have came out of the motor pully instead, check.

Now this next part is real important.
-once you get it figured out and are ready to put everything back together the 2 pulleys must be perfectly lined up, use a flat ruler, using your eye will not work.line the drive pulley up with the lower pulley. ( the pulley on the motor has a shoulder on it so when it is pushed towards motor it will be set in the right spot) .

It is either the pulley on the motor or the wheel that has lost its keystock.

It should be a easy fix,Good luck

Help with my dw100 band saw

Pull the plug on the saw, take off the covers on the upper and lower wheels of the saw.

You will see an adjustment bolt above the upper wheel and below the lower wheel, with the band saw in place on both wheels turn the upper wheel by hand, if the band saw moves to either side of the wheel use the adjustment bolts to center the band saw.
