I am not getting any signal for months, on one of my satellite
Hello. My name is Abdul. I have 2 satellites. I am receiving signal for one of my satellite, therefore it is working fine (Nimiq 1). However, I am not getting any signal, for a few months for my other satellite (Echo Star 3). I just bought a new LNB switch, but that did not fix the problem. I also moved the satellite, but that also did not work. Can you please email me at email@example.com, to tell me what can I do to fix this problem, Also can you please email me and tell me. how to put my satellite back in the proper direction, if it is misplaced now? Thank You for you help.

Satellite tv cannot work thru regular splitters so make sure if u are using one it is a good one . Check all your connector to make sure there is no little wire touching the coper one , then try moving your dish while someone is checking the signal intensity in front of the tv . If u do all of this , im sure ur gonna get it working in no time

With the right piece of hardware and software, it ispossible to triangulate your location anywhere on earth using satellitenavigation. These gamin devices cansuccessfully guide you from one place to another, or they can simply use theconnection with the satellite to tell you your exact current location. Thelatter function requires you to know how to locate the GPS device using theoptions onscreen. 1 Purchase a GlobalPositioning System (satellite navigation) product. There are manymanufacturers, including TomTom, NavMan and Garmin.2 Turn on the GPS and leave itfor a minute or so as it establishes a connection between the device and thesatellite. 3 Navigate to the"Current Location" option in the "Tools" or"Settings" menu (the exact pathway to this option depends on whichGPS device you have). The satellite signal will now successfully locate yourGPS device.4 Type a ZIP code or placename once you have located your GPS device. The gamin can now successfully guide you to your finaldestinationThanks.
When travelling with your GPS it may take 20-30 minutes for it to acquire a satellite signal. For it to acquire the signal it should be stationary so when visiting the family or in the hotel leave it on you should get satellite lock.
Hello there and happy new year
If Your Unit Cannot Acquire Satellite Signals
For your Garmin GPS unit to acquire the satellite signals it needs to function properly, the unit must be taken outside, away from mountains, tall buildings
and heavy foliage where it can get a clear view of the sky. Keep the
unit stationary for several minutes while the GPS unit acquires the
necessary satellite signals. It may take several minutes for the unit to locate a good solid signal
Hope this is very helpful please keep me posted on this ok? Best regards Michael
Some vehicles have a coating in the windshield that can interfere with the GPS unit receiving the satellite signal. It is not the unit's fault. You may need to purchase an external antenna to allow your unit to work inside your vehicle. These are available at www.garmin.com or at your local GPS retailer.
