How to remove ISASS.EXE SYSTAM ERROR INSUFFICIENT SYSTEM RESOURCES EXIST TO COMPLETE THE API

Do you have all windows updates?
First off, make sure it doesn't have viruses or spyware or worms. Then....
Check in Task Manager and see how much physical memory is being used. I'd imagine almost all is being used.
Then check your PF Usage. If that is pegged too, the problem may be a lack of virtual memory
Go to System> Properties > Advanced and under Performance Options click Settings. Then click on the Advanced tab and click Change under Virutal Memory.
-Click Custom size and set the Initial size to 384MB and Maximum to 768MB
Then reboot, defrag, and reboot again.
Delete/move a gig or two off the drive. Then run chkdsk /r
Once that's done defrag.
Looks like you're running out of space for the page file.

Running chkdsk solved this for me - either switch your computer off at th switch or run your windows cd and enter recovery console and run chkdsk /r - can be lack of space on hard drive, bad hard drive, faulty page file or bad ram cause this.

I could fix this up, one reason for this error I have seen is, non availability of empty space required for windows to function. My cousin came running to the with his PC with this same error, I tried couple of ways to set this fine, nothing worked out. Connected the Hard Disk to my PC as slave, and came to know, he has just less than 5 MB space in C drive.., cleaned it using NAV, emptied space to 1 GB in C drive, and bingo.., it worked on its own. This is due to " Insufficient System Resources, and Space is required for any APIs to function" thats it. We always keep at least 500 MB free in C drive.Sashi
