Question about LG LRBN20510WW Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

1 Answer

Black refrigerator finish

I bought a new LG black fridge in the Fall. I made the horrible mistake of putting a rubbery "fake blood" on the front at Halloween. The blood came right off but left an oily looking mark where it was all the way across the top of my fridge. I have tried everything to get rid of the spot and now the front is loosing the gloss look and has swirls in it. I am so upset! Anything out there that I can use to get it glossy again?

Thanks
Claire

Not sure if this will work but you can give it a try. Get a hair dryer and heat the area. Hold it away from it though and see if it works. It is worth a shot.

U-Line 75R: Replacing Thermostat when unit will not run

I am reposting Don Willis's EXCELLENT but hard to find tutorial on how to replace a thermostat on a U-line 75R as a HOW-TO Since he spelled "refrigerator" incorrectly (Refidgerator), Google cannot find it easily! I have a Hotpoint HSS25GFPH white side by side refrigerator. We're buying a new house with black appliances. I don't want to buy a new refrigerator so I'm contemplating painting the whit

Paint? unless you have a spray booth, and are good at such things, I would avoid that...

I would go with a vinyl or similar adhesive sticker. There are companies that do whole fridge front stickers with artwork/nature pictures etc. Google "refrigerator stickers" and you might find one that will do, just plain black.

Freezer and fridge tempeture increasing.

The black " tank " is the compressor . Will the fan by the compressor run ? If not , that is the problem ( fan motor ) . Are the coils clean of dust , lint , pet hair , etc ? The brand and model number would have helped . Since the compressor is hot , means it should be good . The fan motor must be working , to help keep the compressor cool . Also , the back cardboard or metal panel must be in place when finished , or the fan will draw outside air instead of front air over the coils and compressor .

ISO refrigerator door handle

Your original repairman must have looked up a similar model without the snack door. The handle of couse would have also been listed, but this is difficult since A. You do not give your model number and B. (maybe not as bad) we don't know what model number he used when he ordered your door(s). Please list the complete model number of your refrig. (from sticker inside fresh food compartment) and I'll try to help.
