Hi i have cd player security code problem . Ford fairmont 1998 modal plz tell me about security code of cd player thanks

The radio SERIALNUMBER is required for a code Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2will display your Serial Number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER foundon a label on the casing

It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++

I have enterd my security code incorrectly on my cd player to many times but i have found my correct code and i cant enter it when i turn my cd player on an error msg comes up what do i do?

some radios have either a reset switch on the radio under the removeable face or somewhere on the bottom...or you might try removing power to the radio...if removing the radio is too much trouble then you can remove the battery lead ..wait about 10 min and then reconnect..this should reset the radio

I disconnected the battery in my ford fusion and now my cd player won't work...the radio works fine. Any ideas?

Depending on the year, your car's stereo can be very complex. As cars get newer more companies are running more auto systems through the radio. You may have caused a short in the head unit when you unplugged the battery, or there might be fuse out. Check your fuse box. You head unit may also be in an anti theft mode, and you need to enter a security code or another security measure. Calling you local Ford dealer would be a good idea. Just ask for the service department, and they should give you some advice.

My 3 year olded put 2 dvds in the player and it s jamed, wont eject. Any suggestions?

Either try and tease it out through the slot using an old CD with a piece of double sided tape stuck to the edge.

If that does not work , then the player will have to be removed from the dashboard and the cover taken off to gain access to the jammed CDs inside

IMPORTANT : Make sure you have the security code BEFORE removing it (assuming that you radio requires a Security Code)

Here is a useful website showing how to remove different radios + CD players.

no cd player i have ever seen requires a code, but you could try looking on the manufacturers website and looking under the model of your cd player.
