SOURCE: Brown sludge under drum making washing dirty

Hi,

You can try to wash on a high temperature with some soda instead of washingpowder.
And offcourse without any clothing in it.
Due the modern washingmethode's the temperature is always very low.
Then you get some dirt sticked into your machine.
We had the same problem, but it's solved now.

Hope it helps,
Gerard

SOURCE: A build up of brown slimy mould which marks clothes

try manualy cleaning the door seal with bleach and then amonia, ( NOT TOGETHER, ONE AT A TIME )
then pour some amonia into the machine and run it. amonia and/or vinegar work great to clean washing machines. but please note : this should be done seldomly as Amonia is a corrosive towards electrical parts.... hope this helps.

Next question, how do I get the slime out of the clothes from washer?

Cleaning the rubber door gasket will not get rid of the slime issue. The slime comes from buildup on the outside of the washer drum. There are two causes for this. First, if you always close the washer door after use, then the moisture inside the drum cannot dissipate and the slime can form. Also, using the wrong type of detergent (or an excessive amount of the correct detergent) can cause the slime. There are front load washer cleaning products that you can purchase and run to clean the slime from the outside of the drum.

Sometimes the clothes come out of the washer dirtier than when I've put them in! Brown streaks that sort of come of with my finger - sort of like wet dryer lint or sludge. Rewashing takes them away,...

Your washer has too much build up of sludge from excessive use of detergent and fabric softener. You will need to purchase a package of washer machine cleaner from the local hardware store and run the washer on either "clean tub" setting or "sanitary" setting without any clothes in it. Use the cleaner at least once a week for one month and then once a month for maintenance.
Use only 2 tablespoons of detergent per wash.
Good luck

Washing machine does not wash clothes

You are possibly washing at the wrong temp, or not using sufficient powder or detergent.
The m/c is not rinsing properly, check that it is pumping o/k.
If there is a build up off slime and mould on your door seal, then you are definately washing at too low temp.
At least every 4 to 6 weeks, do a high temp wash with powder in but no clothes.
This is called a maintenance wash and helps to keep the inside parts clean..
If your door seal is stained, clean as best you can with a scourer pad or similar. You will not hurt the seal.
plz rate my solution .
Thanks.
