If the power supply has a burnt electrical smell, then it has failed.
I do not recommend you to repair this power supply, mains voltage equipment are dangerous if you do not have the electronic knowledge to repair this type of equipment.
I suggest you purchase a new switch mode power supply, with a capacity of the same wattage as the existing power supply or higher (higher wattage would be better especially if you are operating near the maximum limit of the old power supply).

Fuse keeps blowing in hotpoint microwave

The magnetron is the other issue, high voltage diode will sometimes crack causing a high level short, the capacitor developes a dead short across the 2 points, the power transformer almost never fails, "very rare"

is the rubber surround blown out.. look at voice coil itself .. it could be repaired but maybe not worth it. can u actuate the speaker down and up.. if you can then the voice coil is fused.. and if u can and u hear or feel resistance then there is work to be done to the voice coil and spider. Could be costly.. if its just the rubber.. use silicone to re-seal it.. ol skool trick..

How to find a short in my wiring harness for a 1989 honda prelude? The fuse blew and now my tach, gas gauge, clock and blinkers don't work I put a higher amp fuse in and it lasted about 5 days and blew...

at least you know were to start, key on the fuse that blew.and everything controlled by it.i'm assuming that every time you replace the fuse now,it blows .think back before the short, was there any electricial problems,or devices that didnt work.,wires are melted together,or motors are shorted out.putting a bigger fuse in probably burnt a wire open(meaning got too hot and broke)whatever blew the fuse to start with,is most likley where the meltdown is ,start unplugging the things on that fuse, one at a time, remove tail lightbulbs, inspect thre sockets, look up under the dash at the wiring ,your clock, tach.and gas gauge ,are there, observation is almost 90%of trouble shooting anything .fixing it is easy pop the hood spend some time just looking at every thing follow wires make sure they arent melted together ,and are plugged in,just unplugging something and plugging it back in will show problems, things will fall apart.clips will break and hopefully you will see something obvious, shorts are never fun,do you have any electrical background?and know how to use a multimeter .if you do reply ,

What can I do?

Sorry, the PS3 does not have a circuit breaker. Most likely when the power came back on the surge blew the power supply. You can get it serviced by Sony or replace the power supply your self.
