    It requires the correct code

The radio SERIAL NUMBER will be required for calculating a code

On some radios, pressing Buttons 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 (together) may display a Serial Number.

If not , then remove the radio from the dashboard.

(For useful removal information etc. CLICK HERE )

Then post the MODEL/PART Number beginning with P********* and the SERIAL NUMBER beginning with T**********

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

SOURCE: heating doesnt work - no hot air in chrysler grand voyager

(check water/ antifreeze level first, make sure it's full, low water can cause it not to heat properly) it could possibly be either the thermostat- fairly cheap and easy to fix, great for DIY's- if that doesn't fix it, it could be heater core.

SOURCE: chrysler voyager 2.5 diesel cuts

Hello again,

I commented yesterday that I had the same problem and had done some tests in an attempt to identify the cause.

I contacted a local mobile mechanic, and when I described the symptoms, explained the tests that I'd carried out, and told him of my theory that the fuel filter might be partially blocked he said, "Yes, I'm sure you're right. I've had to do 14 Voyagers in the last month with the same problem!" Hopeful that he was right, but still a bit sceptical because the car had a service less than a month ago in which the fuel filter was listed as one of the replaced parts, I called him out. He came, removed the old filter, commented that "The old filter is really dirty and doesn't look to have been replaced for at least 25,000 miles!" inserted a new filter and the car has been running perfectly since. There's a marked improvement in the way the engine's running (not really surprisingly!) and this reinforces my belief that most (but not all) garages are only interested in taking your money and not doing the work.

For anyone interested, the process of replacing the filter was relatively straight forward and I think (if I ever have this problem again) I will replace it myself. On my Voyager (2001 RHD UK spec 2.5l TD) The fuel filter is located in the rear fuel pump, situated just forwards of the rear axle, on the driver's side of the fuel tank. The filter is removed by using a spanner of about an inch. Note, once the new filter is inserted it's important to prime the engine well before starting it otherwise it will need to be bled (which is apparently a tricky job on the Voyager!) To prime the engine and get fuel through before starting it, you must turn the key in the ignition so that you hear the pump working (eventually the pump noise should stop), and repeat this several times (we did it about 10 times) before turning the key further to turn the engine over. This process makes sure that there's a constant stream of fuel through the new filter and up to the front where the engine is!

That's all the mechanic did, and it worked! Even my wife's happy (of course all things are relative!)

Hope this helps,
Richard.

SOURCE: Hi there got chrysler grand voyager 1997 Le 3.3

Hi!!
Once you enter the right code you have to wait 2 full hours for the radio to come on. If you had entered a wrong code before, the wait can prolong. If you enter the right code, you do not have to do anything else but wait. Entering the wrong code 8 or 10 times will lock the radio for good.
Good Luck!!

What kind of power steering fluid goes into chrysler grand voyager

Use ATF Plus (Type 7176) for your particular transmission, NOT Dexron, Mercon, or generic automatic transmission fluid, Chrysler transmissions do not like any other kind and tend to fail quite quickly with the wrong fluid).

Hi,
Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Take care in solving the problem.......

Caraudioprblem the display says "wait 2hr" and i wait 2hr and nothing happens! still says "wait 2hr" . i dont have any manuals for the car.what to do?

Get a nice aftermarket radio, perhaps one that will play MP3s on CD...

I have been in USED CAR RECONDITIONING for 20 years... This is what the dealers do because it's cheaper and less time consuming than screwing with radio that is probably F'ed Up Beyon All Repair to begin with. (Also known as FUBAR.)

You could always wait another 2 hours...

Does 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager have a Pollen Filter / Cabin Air Filter. If so, where is it lokated?

In 2000 the only Grand Voyager that was equiped with a cabin air filter was the 6 cylinder 3.3 liter Sport model.

Cabin filters are generally found in one of two locations: under the hood, or under the dash board.
