Not getting chat session

Hello,how are you ,hope you are fine ....
i want to ask that i am not getting a chat session ,i am a member of fixya since more than 1 month and i have not yet attended any chat session ...........i have installed fixya chat software ,also in program files a txt file is created which is i think is a error log file .....what to do now ,i have window xp with .net framework also vista with .net framework which is required......

It could be that your profile does not have enough categories, and the chats that are coming up are not in your profile. Try to add as many categories in the My Profile section..you should be able to see a chat or two. Also note that most of the customers are in the US, so the time difference could be a factor as well..

I was just chatting and after I commented on the session went back to look at the chat and it was gone. How can get the chat back so I can review the answers?


You should be able to find it in the "My Fixya" link located near the top of the page and look for recent questions asked by you or my questions.

We cannot get our Sharp Aquos to turn on manually or with remote. The blue power light flashes continually. What can we do?

you don't need the utility to answer premium questions or chats, under "my chat status" tick available on the my expertise page and you will get the premium questions.

I was on Fixya Premium and began to chat with a person, then got disconnected and I dont know how to reconnect.

have a look into your email, most of the time when a disconnect happens you receive a email that includes instructions on how to get another chat session.

If you don't have instructions and you can't seem to get a new chat session automatically by just going to www.fixya.com

I suggest you email premium.support@fixya.com for help with the issue.

Hey again,

no, we don't get any notification of it, most of the time I also miss out on those.

not much we can do about it..You can look on the account statements page and see if the chat session is rejected by customer, then he has had another chat session.

I think they are working on improving the system, right now, we have to live with it.

Hi,

Dilip welcome to fixya.

See there are very less chats sessions each day so you have to atay online signed in with your chat software all most all the time so that you can get one.All you have to do is just be signed in and have alot of patience for a chat to popup.
