Question about Canon PIXMA iP1300 Printer
Since white is the absence of all color and black is the presence of all colors, some printers are preset to not allow peinting at all in black if the color cartridges are not synced in for any number of reasons. Howerever, it's possible that when you press your button to print or (preferably) hold down the CTRL button and press the P key to bring up your printer, that you are not seeing the "Preferences" or "Settings" button. Ususally, if you press that you'll get a set of tabs, one of which will say "Color". Click that tab then you'll see the opportunity to print in "grayscale" and the chance to "Print only from Black Cartridge"
Since you don't provide me with your computer type and Operating SYstem, please do not leave any rating for me if this is not a solution for you. Canons are notorious for little infuriating glitches.
2 thumbs up actually decreases my rating and I'm looking at about 30 questions before I see yours which I can answer for "Free" meaning I get nothing for helpting you and 2 thumbs just decreases my rating.
