Teardrop keeps flashing and won't print anything

None of the cartridges can be empty if you want to print.
Even if you only want to print black, just black you need to
replace the other three cartridges.
Yes color laser printing is expensive.

The teardrap light imples that your ink cartridge needs replacing or is incorrectly installed. If you have recently replace your incartridge, check to make sure it is properly installed. If it has been a while, your cartidge probably needs replacing.

I installed a new colour cartridge but the teardrop keeps flashing and I can't print anything.

might have to clean off cartridge contacts and those on cartridge carrier. Use isopropyl alcohol(don't touch nozzles)! and wipe clean.
print test page and/or photo. Align cartridges from maintenance menu and good success......Please rate if it helped. Thank you. Meder's tv service.

Printer won't print. "teardrop" light is flashing.

"teardrop" light is Ink level indicator.It is saying you are out of ink or that there is a problem with that cartridge. remove it and inspect it, making sure it is not covered with any tape, and reinsert it. If it still fails, get it replaced. If the new replacement fails, you have a failed printing device, and you need another printer.

The teardrop shape is meant to signify ink, generally it means you are out of ink.

Hi Good day.. The problem is on your ink level. To check your ink level please do the following.
1. Click "Start" then Setting
2. Click "Printer and Faxes"
3. right click your printer and then properties you should be in the printer box.
4. Click "Printing Preferences" and then you will see your actual ink level..

that why the teardrop is flashing, maybe your ink has ran out.. refill the ink or replace it with new one..
