Question about Remington "PG350" 7in1 groomer Hair Trimmer

1 Answer

My Remington PG-360 is all clogged up and I want to take apart the trimmer attachment head and clean it. I don't mind breaking it since it was like 30$ and lasted two years (pretty damn good for this POS), but if there's a way to open up the attachment and clean out the hair, I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks.

Remove the trimmer head with a counter-clockwise quarter-twist then hold it under running warm water to clean from both the open back and the blade ends. Use an old toothbrush to clean the blades. Let dry before using. As mentioned above, its a good idea to oil lightly 1x month.

SOURCE: blades do not cut on the remington hc8017 trimmer

Try cleaning the blades as they maybe clogged with hair.
Oil them regularly to prevent seizing.

SOURCE: I have lost my charger for the Remington BKT2000

Hey I don't know if you still need a power cord but I have lost the hair trimmer and have a spare cord! If you would like it just message me on ebay - queen_of_belgium_dips is my username. I can sell it to you through this if you have an account. £0.50 +P&P (as it is pretty useless to me!)

Remington mb300 battery replace how

The rechargable nickel-cadmium is hard-wired and not replaceable.

Instructions for removing the battery from the user manual:
1. Make sure your groomer is unplugged from any outlets so you don't risk an electric shock.
2. Remove side panels/grips
3. Remove the 4 housing screws
4. Pull or gently pry the clipper halves apart, exposing the batteries.
5. Remove batteries from the unit.
6. Twist batteries to break wires. Wires may also be cut.

I also own an MB-300. The battery still works good and I loved this trimmer but I need a new cutter blade for mine.

My Remington is charged but doesn't work.

Most likely, the heads are either damaged or are too clogged up to spin. First, try disassembling the blades and cleaning them out thoroughly. If this is not the problem, you may need to change the heads. Remington suggests changing the heads every 12 months. You will find these for model R-650s at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Battery changing

I have a Reminigton (PG-250) beard trimmer that is very similar in appearance. I was able to get to the battery by inserting a small screwdriver into the botton (where it plugs in) and twisting the bottom and top halves apart. There are no screws. Once you get it started, just go around the groove and pry it apart.
