you insert it in the side of the phone. the lower portion of the slider on the readers right side. the little flap pulls out sightly and swings away. insert MicroSD card and it should click in place. cover back up and should be good to go.

I had the same problem. It happened when I deleted all the songs off. Here's what I did:
I took out the battery (leave it out for like a minute)
Turned on the phone
Plugged the USB into the phone....then into the computer
I then got to pop up to sync/view files
Then I unplugged it and was able to go to my music

Can't do a reset without security code. Your service provider is your only chance. They can unlock or change your password for you. Give them a call. Hope that helps.
