Acer-4720Z do not function like before after OS re-installed.

i own a acer 4720Z and recently i had to re-install my OS (VISTA) bcoz of virus attack. after this, below listed functions am not able to find in my laptop.

# empowering technology
# Hi Trust Drive (encrypt/decrypt) files
# Mouse pad scrolling
# Volume control indicator

plz let me know what best can i do to get these features back. few files i of mine that are stored in Hi Trust Drive cannot be opened. waiting to hear from you.....
