BLOWER WHEEL BROKEN

In your instruction manual you should find a parts list, purchase a new blower wheel and install it. If it is an older unit it may be best to just replace it.

I need to remove and clean furnace blower.

The entire blower and housing slides out you should find the mounting screws on each side of the blower housing they may be sheet metal screws either on the top or on the bottom. After you remove the two screws the blower should slide out. If you remove the blower wheel from the shaft make sure to tighten the lock screw on the flat side of the shaft. Another trick to pull the blower wheel from the shaft is loosen the lock screw and push the wheel in then clean the shaft wit fine sandpaper otherwise you can cause the wheel to jam up because dirt gets stuck between the wheel and the shaft

We are getting a loud squealing noise from the blower motor

Hello, sounds like the blower wheel is loose on the motor shaft, turn off the power to the unit and check if the set screws are loose on the blower wheel, if they are than just use a adjustable wrench and tighten them down until there snug against the motor shaft. If the hub on the wheel is loose than you will need a new blower wheel.

Blower wheel removel no lock washer screw on

You will need to put a pair of vice grips on the motor shaft (to keep it from turning) on the inside of the dryer then go to the back of the dryer remove the blower wheel cover and insert a 1/2" socket drive extension into the middle of the blower wheel and turn clockwise to loosen and spin off to remove the blower wheel.
