Question about Dell Inspiron E1705 Notebook
It's picking up the signal without any trouble but I get the error message about wzc and article 871122. I've tried following the instructions in the article but it says I have to follow the instructions from the manufacturer (Dell) for my wireless card. My machine's not under warranty any more so Dell won't talk to me.
Use the program that came with your wireless card. Do not let windows do the job. You will find this in your wireless settings. Is it the wireless device that came installed in your computer or an external device? Look at the wireless card and let me know what brand it is. This will help me with your problem. On your laptop you will have to take some screws off of the back to get to the card. Make sure that it is hooked up.
