this is probably a pressure crack, from holding it too hard or grabbing it too hard or fast.

maybe if you keep it in your pocket you applied too much pressure to it... sitting on it? or maybe in your pocketbook?

either way, the phone is cracked and not under wrranty... you will have to pay for a replacement or go through insurance

you have broken or cracked the screen. if there is no more damage than the screen and you don't already have some kind of warranty that will cover this you can fix it yourself.

I searched the internet for you so you can easily see what you need and how you fix your phone. this is not a hard project just make sure you search for quality parts the ones listed is just for reference to show you about what it will cost approx $20.00 also ebay is the easiest and most plentiful place to find parts.

I completely agree.  I had this phone for 4 days, took it out of my jacket pocket, and noticed the lcd screen was broken.  Called Lg and AT&T (I have the cu720), and they claimed they couldn't guarantee the screen as covered by the warranty.  Didn't drop the phone, didn't bump into anything, didn't sit on the phone.  They wanted me to send it in and charge me between 80-300 dollars if they determined the screen was not warranted.  Seems like several people are having this problem.  Oh well, it's a beautiful paperweight until I get the new screen I ordered on ebay.

you need to have the camera replace any mobile service center should be able to replace it for you.
