It can be 24vdc power supply problem due to bad DC filter caps, or bad backlight inverter board, those are the two places you need to check first.

Hi, We have a 42" hslc10668phz

generally when you get a constant green light all is ok. these different lights indicate different problems within the tv. so the pattern of lights you mention suggests there is a fault of some kind (is there a troubleshooting section in your manual)? either way it needs to be looked at.

My tv won"t turn on.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.

Problem with monitor

Hi.
Are you able to see a slight image on it at dusk and maybe with the help of a flashlight. since your blue light stays on the video board, may be okay.
It sounds like you have bad capacitors on your powerboard or possibly a burned out transistor on the inverter.

Only way to really tell is to open it up.
If you unplug the screen to video board ribbon, you may notice a different effect in the screen lighting.
There is a chance one of your bulbs is creating a problem
Should the screen happen to light up all white, then your power board and inverter are okay and the problem may be in the video board.
If it looks pinkish or dark or flickers then the bulbs or a bulb may be the issue.
If it flashes on then goes off, it's in the power or inverter board.

Hp 6000 notebook screen goes black..... blue control lights go on and off

if i'm reading this correctly, it sounds like it could be a motherboard/video issue. If that's the case then unfortunately you are probably going to need a new computer if it's out of warranty...

for now however, try shutting down the computer and removing all power (power cord, battery) for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try to boot.

This unit is notorius for having shorted or int. shorted crts. Not good news ans this is very expensive and the crts are no longer available and can only be rebuilt by send to Video Display company.

Amplifier/receiver switches off systematically after a few second of use

Sounds like a bad output channel is causing it to go into protect mode. Time to see a repair tech.
