Question about IBM ThinkPad T41 Notebook
Unfortunately Firefox wouldn't run. Stated "performed illegal operation and will close" and "caused an invalid page default." I think it may be just too much for my 16000 KB computer. I am thinking of just trying to clean up IE. Do you know if any of the softwares that claim to detect and correct errors on IE really work? They are not cheap. Also, could not open crucial memory checker on my IBM computer. Thanks, anyway, for your help.
I know of a lot that DON'T work, and I would never pay anything for any of them anyway.
One that does remove spyware, junk and other such and is completely free is Spybot - Search and Destroy but that only cleans up spyware, adware, malware and rootkits. It won't 'declutter' windows's normal functions. Still worth a try, though, because spyware and adware can eat up huge amounts of memory. You can download it here.
