How to clean suede chair cover?

  • 1 Remove dust from suede by rubbing with a terry cloth towel in a circular motion.
  • 2 Rub smudges, dirt and dried stains with a pencil eraser. Good Housekeeping recommends using a kneadable eraser (available at art supply stores).
  • 3 Sand matted areas by briskly rubbing them with sandpaper or an emery board. This will restore some of the original texture.
  • 4 Dip the towel in white vinegar and gently dab any remaining stains. The suede should appear a slightly darker tan while damp, but not muddy or gray.
  • 5 Allow suede to air dry.
  • 6 Massage the entire surface of the fabric in a circular motion with a suede brush or toothbrush to reestablish a velvety grain.

My son's high chair tray is stained. How can I get it out?

Try using lemon juice to get the stain off his high chair tray. It may not take it away completely but should help. Don't be tempted to use bleach or other harsh chemical cleaners as this is not safe around young children.

What are the advantages of plastic high chairs?

Some people don't like the way that plastic high chairs look but i've noticed that these days you can buy high chairs in every color under the sun and with bright or subtle patterns.
Cleaning plastic high chairs is so much easier than wooden ones as you can spray them and scrub away without worrying about damaging the wood itself.
Plastic high chairs also often have more adjustable options on the chair than wooden ones.

How can I remove stains from my leather electric massage chair?

Before applying a cleaning solution directly to the stained area for the first time I strongly suggest testing the cleaning product in an inconspicuous area of the chair to ensure that it does not damage the color of the leather. The removal process depends of the type of stain. For ink stains, dab a cotton swab in alcohol and rub it into the area, then use a blow dryer to dry the region where the stain once was. For blood, food and other dark stains you can create a homemade paste solution consisting of tartar and lemon juice. Try rubbing that on the area and leave it for about 10-15 minutes. After you can wipe it off with a damp cloth.

I have a large piece of granite rock that I'm going to use in landscaping the yard. From years of exposure to the elements the white granite rock has turned black on the surface. How do I clean it ?

saturate it with white vinegar , let it soak for at least an hour and then pressure wash it or scrub it with a stiff brush. Any stubborn stains can usually be removed with straight peroxide. Hope this helps...

    Mold in front of washer

The only permanent solution is to replace the door seal, and every 6 weeks or so do a high temp wash with powder in, but no clothes in. This is called a maintenance wash, and helps to keep the door rubber clean, and stops build up of grease and slime. The original problem was caused by doing too many low temp washes, and not enough high temp washes. You can try to clean seal, but but it will be permanently stained, and is not really the answer. Please rate my solution. Thanks.

    Refill problems pages are stained

Original refills are best rather than using refill kits, but are expensive and produces clean results... Well, that's the way it is, I too got refills and I expected it to have unwanted results.

Use it until emptied and buy original refills to get best results.
Let this be a lesson us... After all, it's a part of learning via our mistakes.
