HAIER ARE USELESS.. IS ANYBODY CANT HELP ME PLEASE?
Haier for sure recognizes the model. It's been a problem since produced. To correct the problem you'll need an upgrade kit. I'll attach the upgrade instructions and part number for the kit. Try resetting back to factory specs as noted at the bottom of instructions. Follow the procedure to a "T" when you see two menus pop up use the one on the right. Good luck! http://service.haieramerica.com/documents/SB-TV-0003.pdf

If you unplugged the Ysus board, then you need to replace the Ysus board, or both sustain boards. This is the part: The part is often available on Ebay, or from manufacturer. Look also at Vance baldwin or Partstore. To do a good job the Sustain boards should be tested by a tech , following service manual. It is almost for sure sustain board by the way.
Before taking this to a local repair person, I suggest you check with your cable provider. See if they are having trouble with their HD transmission and then have them test your lines. Out here in Arizona with have constant problems with HD due to heat, rodents and poor installations. Your DVR only recorded the problems that were on your set. If these prove fruitless then take the TV to a reputable repair person.
Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

My experience with a Haier Plasma 42EP24S is that they have weak software chip that goes bad and can cause a number of symptoms from picture with no sound, will not recognize video inputs, or my current problem tv turns on and off irratically. This is the second time i have replace this chip, which is the socketed chip on the vga/component/dvi input circuit card. Last time i had this problem i ended up fixing it myself because sears took over 3 weeks and still could not figure out the problem. I am working on obtaining this chip, probally get about a dozen so if anyone thinks this may fix there problem as well i my have some for sale. firstname.lastname@example.org of Malobicky Digital Systems.
