Keyboard not working

I have a co-worker with a Kensington keyboard/mouse set and the keyboard is not working (new batteries). Any suggestions?

i have changed batteries but it seems lately that every few days the keyboard stops working. Then today, after changing batteries, it stopped working again. It's relatively new and in perfect condition. makes no sense. Missing the manual. also...is there some button that i may have accidentally hit that freezes the keys?

Try
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Usb receiver broke on my kensington pilotboard desktop set, any ideas

You can contact Kensington's customer service and see whether they will ship you a replacement. As an alternative, you could buy another Kensington Wireless Pilot Board mouse and use its receiver. As a third alternative, you could buy another Kensington wireless mouse or keyboard and see whether the receiver for that will pick up the Pilot Board keyboard. Finally, you could buy another wireless mouse or keyboard (not Bluetooth) and see whether its receiver will pick up the Pilot Board.

Make sure that the switch on the mouse is ON. Try another battery. If you get the same problem, you need to contact the manufacturer or the reseller for RMA.
