Question about Tyco Radio RC Batcycle Batman

I have a Tyco Grave Digger that only makes noise but doesn't move forward or backward. The frequency is at 27MHz and runs off a 7.2v battery. Can it be fixed?

    Battery is fully charged and is brand new. The car runs fine for 5 minutes and then it stops. It will barely move. Flip it upside down and the wheels will move. Turn it right side up and it wont

Hi yes usually they are easy, to fix, usually it is broken wires where they attach to motors etc. Open it up and check all the wires, check the battery connections and battery condition too. Check the soldering crystals too, again often it is bad solder joints too. in either the controller or the receiver. Make sure the transmitter is also OK, again batteries and switches, sometimes the wires break on the switches inside the controller. Most often it is mechanical, rather than electronic that makes them stop.

This is not the reason. The dual contacts in the boat are there to accommodate two types of battery packs. Only one pair is used at a time.

NICE! got one too! did it come with a receiver in it or were the guts pulled out? most likely going to be easier to hit a hobby shop or ebay and pick a new system out for it because if it did come with a receiver to be reliable you should match brands after that you will need to make sure the crystals are matched for frequency good luck have fun I think some parts for it may be getting hard to find.

I think that WalMart sells them still... maybe you could go there and ask if THEY know how to get replacement parts for it and see if they have another similar model that can take the same wheel?
