This is the primary page for troubleshooting this printer.

In regard to general issues regarding cancellation of print jobs, this is most often due to driver issues, or handling within the operating system. Please refer to http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/knowledgebase.cgi
regarding general instructions to stop/restart print spool & print jobs.

If you are using the printer on a network, often the settings for the printer on the network will cause this issue, and the cancellation abailability to owners or users needs to be adjusted within the network / server system. If it is a standalone setup, the solution depends on the OS; however, generally you should be able to open the printer control (e.g., Control Panel > Printers > Lexmark 1650...) and delete the job listed in the queue.

You may also initiate an online chat with a Lexmark support tech at http://support.lexmark.com/static/229-1-0-71.html.

If you require additional assistance, please post back with further information; otherwise, thanks for rating FixYa!

Our printer Lexmark Optra S 1620 Laser Printer As soon as we turn the printer ON , it shows on the screen that it is Busy and keep printing rubbish letter , and when we press the RESET printer...

The problem is not the printer. It is the PC that is connected to the printer.

There is data in the print server. What you need to do is start the print queue with the printer off. Then go into the Print Queue and delete all of the jobs that are waiting to be printer.

I cant find how to cancel printing on my lexmark x1270

If you click on the printer icon (bottom right) of your screen and look at the print queue you should be able to stop printing and cancel the print job or all the print jobs in the print queue.

Lexmark Optra 1275sc - 900 Service - Software Error

I have the same problem, but the error only occurs when I try to print a .pdf file (Adobe Reader) using the "Lexmark Optra SC 1275 PS" driver. For some reason the PS driver didn't like .pdf files! My solution was to always print .pdf files using the alternative " Lexmark Optra SC 1275 (MS)" driver, which Lexmark also offers on its website.

Hooking up a Lexmark OPTRA E Printer to a Vista - USB Port

I do not believe that the Optra E is supported by Lexmark on Vista.

Not all products from the Optra family (if any) can meet the demands of that platform.

Poor print

Try running a calibration on the printer.

Also try running clean heads function on the printer if it can do so.

Most printers have those options under maintenance.
