Ac unit runs, inside blower shuts off after 2 mins, compressor continues to run, t-stat still calling for cool

My central AC unit decided to stop on the hottest day of the year. It would start and run normally for a few minutes and then the blower would shut off. After checking the breakers, thermostat and overflow shut off (did not have one) I saw something about a blower motor capacitor. This was easy to get to and replace and my last hope before waiting for someone to come fix it. The capacitor cost $4.04 with tax and had my AC working again. Needless to say I was beyond happy. I hope this can help others with a similar problem.

Hello, yesterday when I was surfing the net on my pc (using opera) I suddenly got this weird program that I know for a fact that I've never installed. It said it was a anti-virus program and that I had...

Your best bet is to reboot into safe mode and scan the system, doing this will help ensure that program doesn't start. If after doing this you are still seeing that program you might want to try doing a system restore, try to find one that is a few days older then when the problem started.Starting a system restore can not be stopped once started so take your time when picking the restore point. can run the system restore when your in safe mode,I'd say doing that would be your best bet so as to ensure that program is not running.
Hope this has helped,I'll check back in a few hours to see what progress you've had, good luck

I used to have something called "ajax" that helped my Frontierville and Treasure Madness games load. Now if I try to move down the pages, the hourglass appears and it takes FOREVER. Sometimes it says the...

Ajax is scripting language that combines the power of both server side and client side scripting languages! developers use ajax to retrieve information from the server as rapid as possible! While these games are loading,if we use php instead of ajax,it will load slowly! SO ajax is just programming script! and it seems the code they did is not well or your network is probably down! Clear your history,cookies- close your browser and reopen it!

I keep gett an F 30 error message, I washed 2 loads, on the 3rd load the machine is not taking in water

there are many other users facing this same error problem.F-30. its the problem due to detergent door arm/handle. --------- what other did and how they did.i will mention their tried and tested can also try this and check out. as per the client what he says:--] This worked for me too! The one thing that isn't emphasized is that you need to really push up hard. (I am a middle aged woman with short arms), Then you'll eventually be able to push and turn it. I kept in unplugged for five minutes after that then turned it back on and it's working great! It's really pitiful though that Sears couldn't give me the solution when I called service. They even told me that it would be 10 days to get a repairman here. Moral to the story...don't buy appliances from Sears their service is non-existent. ----- other client says :--- Same thing here, and "The way I fix it is to remove the detergent/softener dispenser, reach back to the far back and top of the water area, and apply pressure to the diverter (which is attached to that arm and servo) until it is free, stops making the grinding noise and moves on its own again." seems to be working. -------- other client says:-- I have now had this problem twice - the most recent time was the first load after the repair man was here - and my unit is only 2 weeks old. For me, it only seems to happen after I use the rinse/spin or drain/spin option, and then go back to normal wash. The way I fix it is to remove the detergent/softener dispenser, reach back to the far back and top of the water area, and apply pressure to the diverter (which is attached to that arm and servo) until it is free, stops making the grinding noise and moves on its own again. ------- other client says:--- We had the same problem. We took the advice of Bugthis (posted Oct. 4/07) and removed the detergent drawer and reached to the very top of back of drawer, where there is a water diverter that was stuck between an open and closed position. We just turned it back to the closed position and replaced the drawer. Then we just started the machine back up again and it worked!!!!!! Thank you Bugthis!!!!P.S. we also called service and all they wanted to do is send a service person out and told us that something was wrong with the motor. What a joke? I'm sure they've received many calls about this problem. Thanks again. ------ other client says :--- have same problem the small motor that turns the arm had a lot of play so i used a paper clip in a small slot at the bottom of the servo to wedge the servo up a little . seems to be working ok now. ----- you also try this tested solutions by others.most probably it should help.but if in case the detergent arm is got cracked or broken this will not help. please dont forget to rate the solution if helped.and if not please keep me updated for more help. thanks.

My freezer is not freezig and the refrig is not getting cold. There is a notice coming from what I assume to be the compressor in the back of the refrig at the bottom.

Check Relay and overload on compressor terminal. sometimes due to faulty relay overload tripping which makes tik tik sound. before replacing relay need to start compressor directly.

Well call sears back and ask them if they fix it will they use the $100 for the repair? If they says yes then do it as sears will then warrentee the unti. Otherwise you need to take it in to save $100 trip charge. The reason why its shutting down is you got a bad power supply unit and this would need to be replaced.

Acer Aspire will not shut down.

  • Common problems are along the lines of what you are saying.
  • Start with the last installed program
  • ( Sony Video Camera ) and remove the program as follows.
  1. Click start, All programs ( it may be highlighted in the list ) look for your Sony Video program, wave the mouse over it to see if it has a menu ( look for uninstall Sony Video ) and follow the prompts.
  • If the program does not come with it's own uninstall program
  1. Click Start, Control Panel, Add or remove programs ( look for it in the list - most likely in alphabetical order, if you have it listed by name )
  2. Click on the program you want and click Remove the Sony Video program.
  3. Check to see if your PC will now reboot.
  4. Strange things happen if the either the software or hardware does not work the way it was intended to do.
  • Try to avoid a deliberate power down (with the button on the front of the case ) - which should be considered a forced shut down or emergency use only.
  • Remove the latest additions to your computer and try the shut down process again.
  • Being a lap top, you could fully charge the battery and take it to a repair guy, phone ahead and explain the situation. Eventually the unit will need to be powered down either way, but if it's in the hands of a repair man, little or no further harm can come to it.
  • If the PC powers back up and seems to run ok with the ram stick in place, it would suggest the ram is fine, but could also be the cause of the strange behavior, for whatever reason.

Garmin Street Pilot 7200 will not load maps

I had the same problem on my StreetPilot 7200 after many edits of many routes. Suspect a scratchpad memory heap getting used up or fragmented had to hold the power button in for 15 seconds or until a message that says press yes to clear all data appears then quickly press yes before unit shuts down
This corrected the problem until the next time the heap gets fragmented but loss of all waypoints is the downside
