I've discovered this manual last year - it's exactly what you need. For easier use just download (facebook login needed) and print it.

There is no image or light coming from my projector

Hi Sane,

Multimedia Projectors uses a high power lamp to project the image onto a screen. These lamps have a typical life of 2000-3000 hours. It is quite possible that it may have blown.

  1. Confirm that the unit itself switches on. You should have some sort of visual feedback from the projector that the unit is switched on, ie. the power light comes on, if it doesn't, check your power chord.
  2. If there is power on the unit, but no image/light, check the unit for a fault indicator/light. Cross reference this with your user manual.
  3. If you are unable to verify or do not have a user manual, "google search" your make, model and fault-code, else
  4. approach a sales consultant at your nearest Audio & Visual retailer for advise.
My take is that the lamp has blown and needs replacement. These can be obtained from a Audio & Visual Retailer and can be self-installed with a little technical knowledge.

No visual for Nintendo Wii, replaced cables, audio fine.

Did you hit the input button on your TV remove to select the input where the Wii is connected? If you TV allows for Component cables try getting a set of those. It's a possibility the TV connection has gone bad. Try connecting it on another tv. or some tv's have Audio connections in the front/Side/back.

My wii console has sound but not visual checked all connections all ok it is connected by component cable please advise

Try to connect your Wii to another component input on the same TV, or to another TV. If the video works in one of those cases, then there is a problem with the TV. If not, your cable is likely broken. Try using a new component cable. If all this fails then there is a serious issue with your console that probably cannot be repaired at home.

Wii game hooked up to new Sharp LED tv. TV is color and the wii is in black and white.

Usually this is either a cable or a mode issue. First make sure that you have the correct cable connections. (Composite video cable to a component video jack is one possible cause of the problem.) Component video cables are not included with the set but will give better results. However, composite video in from the wii's composite video out should give good results.

If you are using HDMI or component video cables, then go into the Wii video menus to select the correct mode for your tv. Check your TV manual and the Wii setup guide for details on the mode (resolution, etc) you should be using.

If the problem persists, try new video cables and make sure that they are fully seated on both sides. Try switching inputs if you have several available.

I hope this helps.

HDMI cable for the Wii but a "Component" cable which is as near to HDMI as possible. The cable has 5 plugs on it (make sure your TV has the same 5 plugs). They are available off of ebay

Also, IF you have the little box that switches it from HD to analog tv is turned to the proper setting...if you have HD then make sure its on the HD.
