NINTENDOGS Got dog on to touch screen, taught it to sit,comfirmed it , dog obeyes, how can I teach it another trick , no instructions coming up on other screen. Maybe you cant teach an old dog new tricks after all (myself I mean)

Yes, the games do come with instruction books, but it's been years since I've had that game. I do remember most things are done using the touch screen. (Feeding, washing, setting your walking course) Though you do use the mic to teach and command tricks.

You have to teach your dog to sit. I had a MAJOR problem with that before. What you have to do is get up close to your dog and then say sit while using the stylus to draw a line straight down the center of the touch screen. When he sits you have to pet him then try again. Remember to keep sayin his name so he doesn't forget. It takes a while to get him to remember "sit" but it will work it just takes patience. Hope i helped and happy gaming!

to teach a trick, u have to make the dog sit down(pet the dog in the head and then down)and click on the question mark on the corner. it is second handed then it surely knows the trick. try an other one makeing different movements on you dog.
to make your dog come, just tap the touching screen a lot of times until it comes.
to go 4 walks, go to the Go Out and ... well, youll see.
read the instrucions that come up.
in the second hand shop, u sell stuff u find at walks, and extras u dont need. and if on a walk u find an alien, dont sell it, wait for something else in the future that u wont regret not selling it. there u go. here r some tips:
dont play the surprise or growler record, dont leve poo on the street of you dog, and win a gazillion virtual money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that happen alot with first dogs just keep trying and be patiant it will take awile he will eventually learn

Try keeping your voice the same tone. Or you can reset the entire game by pressing ABXYLR while on the "Nintendo" screen. If the problem continues, try checking your microphone for any foreign material.

you can teach your dog tricks by. moving the hand down the dogs and say "lie", You than when it lies move the hand on its side and say "roll". you can teach it to sit by moving the hab\nd down the side of its face and say "sit".

at base, press the hand icon and call pet's name over and over until your dog remembers it's name. rub pet's head and swipe down with stylus or finger. press icon (?) in upper right corner. recording will start, tell dog to sit (several times) and stores and items should unlock. care section in items category will have books for tricks and care tips.

The cartridge could be faulty... Or maybe you have to unlock those icons. Have you tried reinserting the cartridge?
