One bad/faulty lead can cause a computer with lots of problems
replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?
while your at it

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor specifically around your central processing unit making VERY sure there is no moisture in the air line

as dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems

hope this helps

I hope you can understand this its basically a major overhaul of your system without the big$$$$$

Fist clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor specifically around your central processing unit making sure there is no MOISTURE in the air line

dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems

then test your power supply unit PSU

replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive one bad lead will cause a computer to shut down

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?

then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will automatically fix any bad sectors and any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive

you have to keep a computer very clean & free of dust and give it regular maintanance

hope this helps good luck for you

Took it out of Box, Pluged it in to First Make Sure it Worked and It VIBRATES So Bad Im Scared to Install it.....What should I do?

If you think something is wrong with the air conditioner, you take it back to the store. No a new air conditioner should not vibrate violently. They are pretty quite, so take it back to the store, and exchange it for another one.

Just brought home the TV - brand new and the remote does not function at all. Tried many different varieties of brand new batterries, but no go. Will get a replacement was wondering if there was something...

I wouldn't lose any sleep trying to fix it. They sold you a new product so they owe you one that works. The problem may be the remote control or the TV itself, and there's not really anything simple to do to fix the problem if you already tried the batteries. Just take the whole works back in and get a new set. Cheers.

My new Eclipse Cld Mp3 player says it has no files, even when I've made sure files are on it. Why is this?

This same thing happened to me. Here is what to do.
**********Before you do this make sure that you have copies of everything that you have on your mp3 player somewhere else because they will be erased from the player.********

1. Plug your player into your pc
2. Go to the start menu and select "computer" or "my computer"
3. Look for your player. It may say "removable disk" or "eclipse" or something. VERIFY THAT IT IS INDEED YOUR ECLIPSE PLAYER. If you do not verify it then you may severely screw something up or could potentially lose important files.
4. Once you are POSITIVE that you have found your eclipse player, right click on it and select format.
5. Make sure that you have selected "FAT32" as the file system
6. Uncheck the box labeled "quick format"
7. Click the "start" button
8. Wait for the Formatting to complete. (it will take a long long time)
9. This is also important. Always us the "safely remove hardware" feature in windows before disconnecting your player. I think this is why the issue came up in the first place.

For me, It took 3 attempts at formatting for it to work. So if it doesn't work the first time, just do it again. You aren't harming anything as long as you've backed up your music.

Hope this helps.

Light on dash states service engine soon

There is something wrong, they may not have had the correct equipment for your car. Even if they had the right scanner and it said nothing....means there is something wrong if the light is on. The computer doesn't put that light on for fun. I would try somewhere else, a lot of auto parts stores will check it for free.
