Your best bet is to call AAA WOLFF TANNING at 1-866-WOLFF-TAN or go to their website at www.wolfftanning.com - each model tanning bed could require a Jumper or Bypass plug to run in "stand-alone" mode - or could require re-programming the parameters.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Was your furnace electric or gas? If it was electric it was probably 220 and should work (although testing with a volt meter would be a great idea)

240 v should work right?

no, voltage is not the issue, what is the amperage you need. If you need more than you have, then you could have 2000 volts and it will not work. Also your taking AC to AC, or DC to DC. There's a big difference in what you need for each.
look up Ohms law for for the calculations needed for voltage vs amperage using one socket.
good luck

Are there different types of tanning beds for use at home?

There are basically 2 main types of tanning beds for home use. The first one is the most common type - which is the horizontal bed or the capsule. Less known is the stand-up vertical chamber. Both types work on the same principle of emiting UV rays to mimic the sun

What is a tanning bed?

A tanning bed is a type of bed (with a top and bottom part to it) that tans the user through ultraviolet radiation. There are tanning beds in salons but also home tanning beds which tend to have less lamps and use less watts.
