Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I recently installed the Honeywell ct87n thermostat.....the AC worked fine all summer, but has been off now for 6 weeks. When I turned in on to heat / automatic...nothing happens...neither the AC or Heat now work. Is it a defective product, or do I need to do some adjusting ?

Check for a fuse in your AC/Heating system either on the control board or in-line on a wire. Make sure the wires are correct to the thermostat.

Honeywell humidistat stuck

what i would do is make sure tha the hole for the wires that go to the humidistat is completely closed and that you are sensing the true humidity for the space also have the tech wire the so that the heat comes on instead of the ac for the de-hiumidification process.
