I have the same problem, tried to connect an external monitor, on boot, matrix like grid lines appeared still, (on the external monitor). This means it must be something inside the laptop.

Any ideas?
This is my only real source of work.
Right now i'm using my home made server to communicate with the the world which isn't the best solution.

Thanks Guys.

First, plug a external monitor ant toggle the screen to see if it displays correctly. This will discard software or configuration issues.
If the external monitor works correctly the problem is in the LCD screen.
You can find replacement LCD screens here:

There is a lead which connects power to the heater grid on the windshield. Make sure it is connected and the solder joint is intact. Check the gridlines for tiny cracks which can disrupt the flow of electricity to part of the grid.

JavaScript SDK description

JavaScript SDK is a browserindependent JavaScript SDK.The mainobjective of JavaScript SDK is to improve the JavaScript language. Not thatJavaScript is a bad language, it just lacks a standard way of doing things. Myattempt is to provide a way to avoid the JavaScript pains that most developers have faced and deliver a library that will bethe de facto for this amazing language.

Here is a brief list of features for JavaScript SDK
- Lazying loading of JavaScript class files
- Encourage OOP coding style
- Fix the namespacing clashes common when incorporating many JavaScriptlibraries
- Made the language less verbose
- Only one library to use.

Radio Interference affecting the UPS

Erratic operation up to and including load loss due to radio or camera flash operation. Do not operate or let customers operate a radio or a camera flash near the critical power systems, especially if the doors are open. Various manufacturers have recommend not to use these devices near the UPS or other Critical Power Systems.

1. Depending on the physical layout and components used on the control boards, the controls may be affected by an Radio Frequency (RF) signal of relatively low strength at the right (wrong to the control circuits) frequency from a hand held radio.
2. Microprocessor circuits which often have a crystal for clock frequency, may modulate the signal in with the clock frequency and cause the CPU to lock up due to a missed or garbled instruction.

3. Analog circuits with high gains, high impedances, and diodes, may demodulate the RF signal and cause the controls to malfunction.

4. So far, cellular phones have not been detected to cause a problem, but it is still a good idea not to get them too close to the control circuits when in use.

NOTE: Units built for certain military applications must meet RF interference

susceptibility specifications. They have special shielding installed, but

even they may not meet the susceptibility specifications with the doors

opened.

5. It has been witnessed for a UPS to blow inverter fuses when a strobe flash on a camera was charging and the UPS doors were open. The RF from the strobe oscillator caused an inverter bridge to misfire.

6. It has also been seen to knock down a microprocessor controlled UPS when the strobe flashed and caused an EPROM to misread even though the UV eraser window on the EPROM was covered with a label. light still penetrated enough to garble the instruction to the CPU and cause it to lock up.

How i adjust horizontal size and vertical size

To answer your concern, all you have to do is to change the setting of your aspect ratio on your TV.

Here is my suggested way to procede:

1. Apply 1080i signal, which should produce an oversized HD image on ColorStream1or 2.
2. Select an HD channel that is broadcasting standard 4:3 image, not wide screen.
3. Switch to the Service Mode ( Please refer to the above links). In the Service mode, press channel up/down to find the Adjustment parameters needed for the following steps.

4. Adjust HIT with volume up/down control for the image height to 22.5 inches.

6. Adjust WID for image width of 30 inches, (22.5*4/3)
7. Adjust HPOS to center the image.
8. Adjust PARA and TRAP to minimize geometric distortion.
9. Switch into Convergence mode and Adjust VLIN to get equally spaced horizontal grid lines.
10. Measure the length of the central grid lines and note the number of horizontal and vertical grid lines. This information is used to create an overlay grid.
11. Create the overlay grid on 40x25 x0.003 inch clear Acetate sheet, which you can get at the Art Supply store for under $2. Draw the grid with a fine line erasable pen. Draw vertical and horizontal lines through the center of the sheet so that the lengths are the same as the central grid lines. Now draw the grid so that it has the same number of lines as the convergence grid but are equally spaced, with the outer ones at the ends of the central lines.
12. Cut off about 1/4 inch from the right side of the sheet so that the sheet can lay flat against the screen, which is slightly less than 40 inches.
13. Put a reference mark on the TV frame 2.5 inches down from the upper left side of the screen.
14. Place the overlay on the screen so that the upper edge lines up with the reference mark. The overlay sticks by electrostatic attraction.
15. Use convergence controls to remove grid distortion and converge grid colors. Refer to the Anamorphic link for details.
16. Enjoy 1080i.

Other Comments:
I didn't realize I could create the overlay grid before placing the Acetate sheet on the TV screen, until I finished drawing the grid with the sheet placed on the screen. I added grid lines as called for in the procedure. I'm sure this method took much longer no only to draw the lines but some of them were difficult to see.

Part way through the convergence procedure, I became concerned that the image width was off since I did my screen adjustment with wide screen image. Thus, I decided to repeat that step with a 4:3 screen.

I confirmed the need to press 7 often to save results since after I adjusted one grid color without it, I accidentally hit a key that switched me out of convergence mode and when I switched back, all settings were gone.

Another mistake I made was not realizing that the cursor color determines which grid gets moved.

Matrix Style Lines

Yes, this could be a property value set in your display. Go to Control Panel, Display and hunt through your display adapter's advanced settings and see if there is a check box for display grid and turn that off.

Sounds like a problem with the LCD assembly or cable. You may want to reseat the LCD cable at the LCD end. It could be a loose internal connector in the LCD assembly.
