Do not mean to be insultive, but are you sure? did you ground the sparkplug to the cylinder? And did it have a decent pop to it when you pulled to ignite the coil. If yes to the first and no to the second, replace the coil. Also take a very close look at the spark plug wire. Make sure it isn't corroded at the boot that connects to the spark plug and make sure it is not loose. Good luck

Have a Husky 254xp and I have to consantly readjust h&s needle valves back to their reccomened settings even after 1or 2hrs use. Suggestions? Brian

When you say re adjust back to basic settings, are they actually vibratinh out? it maybe the springs have become weak and allowing them to move due to the vibration of the saw.

I have a Huski 20"

Hi, assuming you have put fresh two stroke mix in the saw, it will need to have a carby diaphragm kit fitted. It's not hard to do yourself as long as you fit the new diaphragms and gasket in the exact same positions as the old ones. The reason for your problem is that the old diaphragms go hard and no longer flex due to stale fuel being left in the carby. You may also want to replace the fuel filter in the tank. Regards Phil.

Husqvarna chain saw oiler problem

I fear you are correct about the oiler problem. I see a lot of oiler problems on these saws. Sooner or later Husky will have to address it. Ask the dealer about modifying your oiler; the 350 has an adjustable and might fit 1 or both of these saws. I think Husky needs to admit the nonadjustable is a mistake, and come up with a fix.

If you want to do some research start with the IPLs here:
HusqvarnaUSA.com
http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week
Please post back (below) with what happens at the dealer. Take your buddy and his saw with you! Good Luck. HTH
