Get a tissue paper smudle the cartridge head on th tissue in a straight line this will give you an idea where their holes are they are the ones directly above that color or that order usually Left to right starts with yellow cyan magenta in a traingle formation it should be in line with the line you produce when you smudge it on the tissue directly above each line is its hole on top of the cartridge..

Refilling procedure

You need to specify what brand is your printer. But the procedure is as simple as dirty. Make sure you have a cloth or paper to handle the messy part :).
Requirements: 1. Printer-Ink 2. Syringe with thin needle3. Piece of cloth
I will write how to refill HP cartridge, because I don't know your model.Ususally Hp cartridges have colored or black spot ont white sticker.Under this spot there is a tiny hole. This hole is designed to be used for refilling. You need to pierce the spot with the needle and start the refilling process.Make sure that there are no bubbles in the syringe and start filling slowly the cartridge. Do not hurry! Don't fill the cartridge to its full capacity. If your cartridge is 20ml fill only 15 or 16ml.After you finish set aside the cartridge for 30 minutes so that the ink settle. This is it!Good luck!

I don't know how to refill?

Refilling HP color printer ink cartridges saves money and time spent running to the store to find the right ink cartridge, which sometimes is out of stock. By having the refill kits for the HP ink cartridge, you can just refill the cartridge when the ink runs out. The refilling process is easy to do and anyone can do it in a few minutes. The ink kits come with directions and all the colors one will need to refill the ink cartridge.

1.Place a piece of paper towel on a flat surface. Remove the empty ink cartridge from the printer. To do this, open the cover and wait for the ink dispenser to move the ink to the open door. Lift up the tap that holds the ink cartridge in place and pull out the cartridge. Push the tap holder back down and close the cover.
2.Place the ink cartridge on the paper towel. Gather the ink refilling kit together with directions and place the ink jars on the paper towel along with the syringe needle.
3.Find the indents on the top of the empty ink cartridge. Poke these holes open with the pen. Sit the cartridge down and open the ink containers. The colors are yellow, cyan and magenta.
4.Read the directions to see where each color goes in the ink cartridge. Insert the syringe needle into the ink container and raise the stopper up until you have the recommended amount of ink to fill into the particular hole.
5.Insert the needle into the hole on the ink cartridge and slowly dispense it into the cartridge. Remember to go slow with this step. If you see the ink oozing out, stop filling and wipe with a paper towel.
6.Cover the holes with the tabs that come in the refill kit or you can use tape. Make sure the hole is sealed to prevent spilling or the ink drying up. Then replace the ink cartridge back into the holder in the printer.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.

How to refill HP 802s tri-colour cartridge

Remove the sticker label of your cartridge the you see a three small hole, each hole have an appropriate colors for the cartridge. Fill up the syringe with ink that compatible to your printer then infused it in the small hole in your cartridge with the same color that you have filled in in the syringe. Do it same in the other colors. If the syringe not fitted to the small hole make it a little bit bigger with same size of the needle of your syringe. Put a absorbent paper in the cartridge where the ink is leaked. Don't mind it if it is leaked it is normal. Before returning it to a printer be sure that the terminal of the cartridge is not wet by the ink that you fill in the cartridge. Hope can help you

Ink cartrige problem

This is error is common after a cartridge is refilled, in most cases it's because of "bad refill" and we can also say "dead cartridge". If possible, Please try the cartridge on another printer or try your printer with another cartridge. (i hope you know what tri color mieans = the color cartridge). Make sure the cartridge is not overflowing or leaking. Clean if possible, and never touch the print head, if you ever did so there's no way to make it work again. Hope this helps. Good luck Thanks for using FixYa.
