Re: My player just stopped working and does not respond...
Hi, I'm Sony tech and can help you in that problem. Let me know is it NWZ-B135F mp3 player or any other model to proceed further as model number is very important to fix this issue. Thanks.

If the portable player is not responding, reset it by pressing the RESET button with a small pin or similar object. Please check the following link: http://www.kb.sony.com/...
I just sorted one of these out. Forget the usb cord even witht the blue light flashing it ain't charging. Not sure about the internal wiring of the dongle but usb just doesn't seem to deliver enough oomph to get it started when the battery is that flat. Get a mains adaptor and plug that in to the charging socket on the dongle or get one of those dedicated mains chargers from ebay. Once I did this I was up and running in no time.
i had my GFs mp3 player and it was flashing green light, not solid, but still was frozen and couldnt even bring it up on my computer after plugging in the USB cable. but i just tapped the reset button on top right side, and it stopped flashing and turned off. i turned it back on and started to play normally. not sure if it will be the same since the light situation is different, but the reset button worked for me. good luck
unfortunately, the best solution is to send it back to creative for them to check it out. this sometimes happens when the player has been unused for too long and battery "under charges", which there is a solution.but seeing as u used it under normal conditions, that cant be the problem
WARNING: this process will erase all songs off the GoGear.
Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).
Press and hold the Vol + button whilst plugging into the PC.
Device Manager should go into repair mode.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
When finished, disconnect usb and reconnect quickly. Player should say loading, and then go into transfer mode.
Disconnect and reconnect player again. Screen should say
Updating.
Repair is now complete.
* If player flashes "Initializing" & "GoGear" alternately, then resatart the process again. If it still doesn't work then there's not much else you can do.
Hi,
Yes it is an mp3 player. I have left it plugged in and now the display light is coming on although no picture / text on the screen.
