I have Spiritual Expressions for Windows 98 but my laptop has Windows Vista. How can I make the program work on Vista?

Win 95/98 programs may not run on Vista.

However, it is possible they might run if you try running the program in "Compatibility" mode.

I have heard that it does work with windows 7 but there are some compatibility issues that could make it function poorly or crash unexpectedly. Unfortunately there isn't much more information about this product with Windows 7.

This is a Windows 98 program. Try installing it using the compatibility feature of WIN7. Right click on the startup program on the CD, select install as administrator, right click again and select properties, install as W98 compatible.
This might work but some of these older programs just won't work with Vista or Win7. I didn't find any updated spiritual expressions software. It looks like it is no longer made.
Also you didn't say if you're running 32bit or 64bit Win7. Be aware that 64bit does not support 16bit programs. Given the age of spiritual expressions, it is probably 16bit code. No way will it run on a 64bit OS. My above suggestion will only work with 32bit Win7.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. you can try to upgrade your software to a newer version, try to ask the software provider, normally it is writed in the field About under the Help menu.

The Printshop V5 program is supposed to run with Windows 98 or Me, therefore in order to use it with Vista or XP, you should open it using Compatibility mode--> Right click on the program icon--> properties-->Compatibility--> select Windows 98 or Windows Me

if you are using windows vista forget about using that player in ur laptop dude.... vista has compatibility issues... many softwares which used to run well in windows xp are not running in vista,,,, try finding the driver for the player for vista,,,...

Is this a device driver or a program like a game? If it's a device driver, then you will need to go to the devices website and download drivers for vista. Most drivers that work for windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP will not work in Vista.
