Question about HP Officejet J5780 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I lost my disk to in stall my printer on my pc i hade it working before but it ran out of ink hade it powerd off for a wile and when i put it back on my pc asked me to put in my disk to in stall my printer and can not find it is a j5780

need to clean the idle jet out in the carb. you need to take the carb float chamber apart and you will see 2 copper jets. unscrew one jet at a time and clean them out. screw back firm not to tight. wile open clean the filter out of the main fuel line if its black replace with new one or leave to soak in some white vinegar and brush with a old tooth brush put new seal on float chamber and put back on engine. see if its fine then it should be.

I just got the Boss BV9555 and the BLUE WARNING SCREEN wont go away ! how can i fix this. Oh and when i put in a DVD i can hear it but i cant see it at all!


put the pink cable on the negative i hade the same problem but now it work its a safty cable so u dont watch wile u driving but u can by pass it

Inks worked perfectly befor i went on holiday,, since returning i get no ink flow at all ps they are newish inks


please you chack the cartriged is dry and hard to be dry the hade
if yes then refling the cartidge and cleaning the head is ok.

you have a exprrianse a instoll a ink other open the printer hade couver and cartridge is uot of your printer and take injectsion sires in take ink
and instoll ink in cartriged and used printer ok.

HP K850 cartridge problem


I had the same problem, all cartridges lights came on.
I did two things:

1st: I clean the print cartridges plugs with Q-tips, just to insure there wasn't any ink build on the plugs. If you look were the cartridges are, you will see four plugs one for each of the cartridges. Each plug has four contacts. They should be a bright metal color. If they dull in color, they have ink on them. Unplug the printer and pull all the cartridges out and gentlely wipe the the contacts with Q-tips. Re-stall all the cartridges.

Note: The cleaning did not solve my problem but its good maintenance since in was looking for a solution.

2nd: What work for me was I un-stall my printer totally. Turn off the printer then turn off the computer, had a cup of tea, rebooted the computer and re-install the HP cd disk and drivers, turn the printer back on. After I reinstall the software and put the printer back on my network, everything is working fine for the last two days. The lites are off and the HP toolbox is reading the ink cartridges status correctly. I believe that a virus change the printer drives.

I didn't have the same problem, but I had to un-stall the printer and re-stall the printer. I believe that a virus change the the printer drivers, the printer was finishing printing then the all the cartridges lights came on.
See my notes below. If anything you refresh you printer drivers.

Kodak 5300 printer


K...Trust the solution. Try these steps. Open the printer, remove the ink and remove the printhead (See User's guide). Reseat the printhead and the ink cartridges. The printer will come up with an error message that requires calibration. Do the calibration and scan the sheet that prints right after by pushing the start button. In the menu options, clean the printhead. Do one basic and one deep. Print a demo sheet (another menu option) to see if the quality has gotten better. If it has not call Kodak AiO Tech support. You will need a replacement printhead.
