Question about Computers & Internet
You should have a manual with instructions for opening the router interface. You must power it up and have it connected to your PC. Then open a browser. In the address bar type 192.168.2.1. From the product manual: You will see the Router's home page in your browser window. The home page is visible to any user who wants to see it. To make any changes to the Router's settings, you have to log in. Clicking the "Login" button or clicking on any one of the links on the home page will take you to the login screen. The Router ships with no password entered. In the login screen, leave the password blank and click the "Submit" button to log in.
You should create your own password for access to the router. Page 45 of the manual describes how to secure your network. If you do not have a manual, you can get it here. That should offer you a download of the PDF manual. If that does not work, go to this page and click on the link for your manual.
Hope this helps.
