I broke a spark plug clean off on my yamaha 2004 1100 fix. How can I get it out please help

You may be able to use a screw extractor or easy-out to remove the broken plug. It can be tricky to get it started but should work. Here is a pic to give you a better idea.764a103c-68d3-4911-ba92-3403344a12d4.jpg

Electrical plug is broken

Electrical plug that is broken can be fixed however it is no longer safe to use..Electrical current may leak while holding the plug that might cause electrical shock. It is better to replace it with a new one.If the plug can be remove using a screw or if it just fixed using a bolt then you can just buy a new socket or plug. That helps you lessen your expenses.Hope this helps..

No sound coming from left ear initially, now no sound at all.

Sorry, it's probably not fixable. The wires are either broken internally or have become detached from the solder fixings and the headphones are not designed to be repaired, nor are spare parts available.

The only exception is if the plug on the end is broken or has broken wires. Wiggle the wire at the plug end only whilst wearing the cans. If you get sound, then identify where the wire has broken and cut the plug off at that point. Strip the wires, correctly identify the left and right conductors and fit a replacement plug using soldered connections. Ensure that the screening sheath is correctly soldered to the casing (it's the earth connection for both conductors) and close the new plug casing.

In practice, it's fiddly, and only to be done if you're confident with a soldering iron. If not, just do as Philips intended and bin your old cans and buy new: it's not as if the SBCHP430/00 was an expensive model to start with.

The low input plug on my logic soundlab cpx1820 is broken.

Hello lucky33irish,

If it is just the plug that is broken, it's a rather easy fix. Just solder on a new plug. Look closely at the old one to make sure that you match up the wires correctly. You can get replacement plugs at Radio Shack or try this web site. I like the Switchcraft 3502. It's very durable and easy to work with.

A better fix would be to replace the cables with a new set of RCA's.

If the pin from the old plug is broken off inside the jack, you'll need to remove it. I usually start with a scratch awl and gently pry the old pin backwards until I can get ahold of it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Just be careful that you don't push it in deeper.

Anyway, hope this helps.

Plastic part broke off my super nintendo where you plug the power cord in the back.

This is a common problem with the original version of the SNES console.
Unfortunately the fix is not an easy one. I fix these in my shop but I have done dozens of them. It requires soldering. There are two ways to fix it. You can replace the broken part which is soldered to the motherboard or you can solder on wires for a new receptacle.
To get the replacement part you would need to buy a broken SNES off eBay or somewhere and disassemble it to remove the needed part. If you find a busted SNES with a working motherboard you MIGHT be able to just swap it. I say might because I have found at least three versions of motherboards in these things and the mounting points inside the case are different for each of them.
To bypass the plug altogether you would need to find a new plug at Radio Shack and wire it up to the motherboard and attach it to the case so that the plug can be hooked up. You could also cut the plug off of the AC adapter and solder the adapter wires directly to the motherboard.
Like I said it is not an easy fix. It also has a high probability of not working if you do not know what you are doing. It might be best to just buy a working console from a reputable seller and sell yours as broken.
Good Luck.
