Question about HP Photosmart Premium C309g multifunction InkJet Printer

Open Question

HP photosmart premium C309G-m, worked okay until I attempted to set up wifi, then crashed and shows a blue screen on the printer with a cicle and vertical line, then cant switch off or do anything, have to unplug but goes back to blue screen. Please help.

Turn off the machine, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges (lift the lid up at the base of the control panel), wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime the ink lines to clear the error. you likely have a small piece of paper in the paper path, or a small object. Some of the paper path cannot be seen without dismantling (which I don't recommend)
It can be difficult to find someone to repair it, and HP's solution is to convince you to 'upgrade`

Wireless not working after a power shutdown?


It sounds as if the wireless settings have stopped functioning. Try walking through the entire Wireless setup again.
To be honest, I have found the WiFi on most of the WiFi capable printers, to be un-reliable even under the best of conditions. The connection tends to drop whenever it wants too.

The most reliable connection is still with a CAT5 patch cable.

I have Hp Photosmart 309g - it is 2 yrs old. I get alignment failure & have tried all the resolutions on the support website. First Blue didn't print then after pulling the power out everything...


Yes that is unfortunately true, if it is out of warranty they won't be able to replace the printer. However, it can be traded for upgrade for an HP factory reconditioned printer for a lesser cost.

I replaced all the ink carts in my hp photosmart premium c309g printer know the blak wont print at all and all the color prints faded. What do i do?


The ink may not reach the printhead completely.
You could wait at least 1 hour before printing.
Also do a ink cleaning cycle.

Problems connecting my Dell mini10 netbook to my HP C309g


XP is dead,why in the world are you using XP
there is no support. now.
shiny new, was said, whats new> 309? sure, 2015 release. its new.
to use its wifi it must be joined to your router, that takes router skills. even WPS setup or doing this manually , i use a fixed IP in my router married to the printer, for best play.
mine comes on line every time the printer is turned on
the printers menus will tell you it if you had looked.
but USB ouch

and there is the xp32 bit driver.

the XP is junk , why use XP? its a virus magnet, dump it.

mini 10 (OLD) a 1010 it is.

ok its and old NOT NEW its February 26, 2009, hardly new
and behind 4 operation system released, Vista/w7/w8/.w10.
Inspiron min 10 (real name) with Atom slug processor

there is on DVD/CD drive
so driver must be loaded with internet
or usb STICK memory

1: join the printer to your wifi perminantly
2: then load the XP driver, above
3: run it.
