Where the paper spits out , there is a little arm that is stuck in the up position. maybe the spring came off. You will have to take the top cover off to see this.

Getting a false error message that the ink/toner is empty and wastebin is full when i print to my phaser 8860 from a macbook on 10.6 (networked printer)

The waste bin full error can occur if the waste bin was not removed from the machine for over 10 seconds when it was emptied. Please remove the waste bin and wait for a full 10 to 20 seconds before replacing the Waste bin.

If the message still displays turn off the machine and leave it off for 1 minute then turn the machine back on.

Then run software update to make sure you have the latest OS updates.

Then delete the printer and re-add the printer.

We have an error of Std bin full on the Lexmark T612. What does this mean and how do we fix it?

If the bin is not full, maybe the exit flag is stuck causing the error. This article might help resolve the problem. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9R6UOU. Thanks.

E8 Error flashing Ing Reservour full, can this be

The first thing you need to do is Press <Black> or <Color> button to clear the error and continue printing. If still the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.
  1. On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.

  2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again.

  3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

Dell Laser Printer M5200

There is a small flip lever that monitors the paper output. If this gets stuck it will give this message. This is on the left side where the paper exits the printer. You may also have a bad sensor but most of the time it just gets stuck.

Std bin full

The Standard Bin Full message is refering to the main output tray for the printer. If you have nothing mounted to the top of the printer, then the standard tray is where the paper is exiting.

What the message is telling you the bin is full and it is not, most likley the failure is that the sensor (a piece of wire is jammed in the up position. Just release the wire and let it hang down. That should clear your message and let you start printing again.
