Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.

We have a 1994 chrysler concorde.ran fine untill my wife set off the manufacter`s alarm system, now it will turn over but wont start even when i shut the alarm off. now like i said it turns over

Try disconnecting the negative battery connection and leave it disconnected for about 15 minutes. Then reconnect it, make sure the alarm system is still turned off and it should fire. Sometimes an alarm condition can scramble the MP and removing power for a time will clear the fault. Good luck.

When keyboard goes dormant after 15 minutes I can't reconnect without using a new connect code?

Hello.

Unfortunately, when reconnecting, you need to type in a security code. The system does not remember the code and save it. That is the design of the keyboard.

Hope this helps.

The wireless keyboard and mouse are not working.

  • Check to ensure that the wireless receiver is plugged into your computer. Press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the receiver to attempt reconnecting your mouse and keyboard to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use Bluetooth, ensure that your computer's Bluetooth is active and detects the mouse and keyboard.
  • Check to see if the keyboard and mouse are turned on. If the power indicator lights on the keyboard and mouse are not green, press the "Power" button to turn the keyboard and mouse on.
  • Check the batteries of the mouse and keyboard. If the batteries are dead, replace them with fresh batteries and reconnect the mouse and keyboard to the computer by pressing the "Connect" button on the bottom of the wireless receiver attached to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use rechargeable batteries, let the batteries recharge before using the device again.
  • Uninstall and reinstall your wireless keyboard and mouse drivers. Sometimes, the Logitech drivers are at fault for a bad connection. Use the Control Panel to uninstall the old drivers, then visit the Logitech website and install the latest drivers for your keyboard and mouse.
  • Search the Logitech Support Database. If your keyboard and mouse are still failing to function properly, visit the Logitech Support website and browse the support page for your product for specific solutions.

The keyboard is locked

Dear Sir,

plz folow this step to unlock keyboard

  1. Step 1 Check to be sure your "Number Lock" or "Function Lock" keys aren't lit. These can lock out certain parts of your keyboard. If either of these is lit, press them to unlock the locked portion of your keyboard. These can be found at the top right on a laptop and between the number pad and main keys on a desktop keyboard.
  2. Step 2 Save all open programs using your mouse. Use your mouse to restart your computer. This will only work if your computer isn't frozen. If your mouse doesn't move, press the power button on your Dell until the computer turns off. Press it again to restart. If the issue was lack of memory or a locked program, this will unlock your keyboard. Continue to Step 3 if the keyboard is still locked.
  3. Step 3 Shut down your computer using your mouse or power button. Don't restart. Unplug your Dell.
  4. Step 4 Remove the battery if you're using a laptop by turning the laptop over and sliding the battery release latch. Slide the battery out and replace after one minute.
For desktops, disconnect the keyboard from the desktop. Reconnect after one or two minutes.
  5. Step 5 Reconnect the power adapter or AC cord. Start your computer.
  6. Step 6 If your keyboard is still locked on a Dell desktop, disconnect the keyboard. Restart your computer and reconnect the keyboard after the system boots. Allow your operating system to recognize and reinstall the keyboard.
Thanks For Your Time,

Hi. On my Omnibook 4100 Keyboard following keys do not work. 4,5,r,t,f,g,v,b.. Is this a cable connection fault or circuitry fault that requires a chip replacement. thanking you. Alfons.

If you remove the keyboard you there will be on flat cable running from the keyboard to the laptop. At the end of the cable (the end that goes into your laptop) there is a hm.. "connector" (can't remember the real eng word, sorry)

Pull it out of the socket inside the laptop and reconnect it, making sure its not loose and all should work fine.

    Mx3200 keyboard stoped typing

Unplug the USB (or PS/2) plug for a couple of seconds and reconnect them. That worked for me when this happened on my older Logitech keyboard.
