You might have damaged the edge of the screen where the connections are and broke connections. These types of problems are impossible to fix. You need replacement panel witch can cost a lot. Cheaper is to buy new model. You can re-sell the screen motherboard, PSU as those are sometimes valued replacement parts for screens that have working panel but broken circuits.

Another tip for you is to find a exact same screen with broken circuits and replace those. I have found myself broken screens just for cents.

your screen is damaged?try massaging the screen with your finger on dead pixels to get colour back into them, this solution should work depending on the extent of damage their is,other wise get your local technician to replace the lcd screen because once a screen is damaged their is nothing else you can do but get the screen replaced.

dear , if your screen still working after one side damaged , so thats great , but unfortuntly , its not work for more days . one day it i will damaged the whole screen ,so my suggestion is that.. purchase branded screen and replace the screen...

The protector screen is $247.79 If the screen behind that is damaged, that one is $147.97 If the last screen is damaged, that one is $495.00

Unfortunately, the answer is no. The lcd screens these days are thousands of pixels, each controlled by a tft (thin film transistor). Once they are damaged, you either have to live with it or replace the screen. Sorry to have to relay the bad news. Many people clean the screen too hard and damage some of the transistors, and the damage is irreversible. Wish I had better news, but there just isn't any with this type of screen

Unfortunately the LCD panel would need to be replaced. Even if there is not any signs of damage to the outside portion of the panel, one of the inner screens may have been fractured. I am not sure if the panel would be available because if i'm not mistaken Sharp just started making replacement panels.

It's definitely a damaged screen and will need to be replaced. Your best bet on a replacement screen at a decent price is Ebay. This is where I get almost all replacement screens from. It's not too difficult to change out. Try one of these links for a breakdown diagram for your machine.

Broken screens, unfortunately, are not being replaced by the manufacturer. You will have to replace the player outright. If the screen ALONE is damaged, you can buy a broken version (as long as the breakage is not in the screen), and you can superglue a screen back on - note: glue can damage other parts - doesn't look pretty. The problem is that, usually, it is not JUST the screen that is broken - an internal component is damaged as well. It is not cost-effective for the Mp3 manufacturer's to repair this kind of damage, so they just offer replacements. Sorry!

You are correct, the screen is damaged and in most cases cost mre than a replacement tv. There is no repairing a damaged LCD panel, just replacing.
