Solution Dear Sir, my Toshiba system is Satellite Pro M200 provided by out company. some of the functions are not working from past two months, previously it was working. NOT working Functions: FN + ESC = Sound off and on FN + F6 = reduction of brightness FN + F1, FN+ F2, FN + F3, FN+ F4, FN + F5, FN+ F6, FN + F7, FN+ F8, FN + F9, FN+ F12, and two functions are working, which are FN + F10, FN + F11 are working adjacent to power switch multi mediya keys also not working. i checked with my system administrator also he could not rectify it. can you please solve my problem. get a driver update for ur toshiba laptop... while installing ur win7 u must have deleted ur drivers therefore ur computer doesnt recognize there happens to be multimedia set of keys... reinstalling drivers for the multimedia keys must set it right
remove the reference to the touchpad in the box that refers to the pointing device. select "other" and connect a USB mouse, slow it down and all should be ok
I believe the M200 uses Intel's Wireless.
Try this link: Intel PRO Wireless and WiFi Link Drivers.
If Not using Intels then please post the Hardware ID String from Hardware Device Manager.
I also did the same with my toshiba satellite m200 machine.
but I visited the site www.toshiba-india.com and downloaded driver (SM200_XP_Intel_WIFI_Driver_For_PSMC0_PSMC1) and installed on my machine and now my wireless connection is working very fine. I am sending you this message and sollution by connected with same wireless.
