Question about Televison & Video
You have a bad t-con board, the most common cause of this problem. It is the LCD controller which is responsible for producing an image on the screen. Replacing it should resolve the issue and component level repair is not possible as the board is full of solid state electronics. The board is relatively inexpensive and should cost you about 125$. It is easy to replace as well if you have the basic know how of electronics(what not to touch, how to remove connectors etc.,) If you want to do it yourself then let me know and I will see you through this.
PS: In rare cases this can also be caused by a faulty panel which I hope is not the case with your set.
