Hi

Thanks for using FixYa.
F1 error means that the flood switch has been activated. You'll need to reset it by powering off the breaker or by unplugging the unit from the power socket and mains for more than five minutes. Please check that there is no blockage in the drain hose and it is not raised higher otherwise the water will run back to the dishwasher. Also perform the following procedure---

    • Unplug power and remove bottom dish drawer
    • Use a Sponge and dry all the excess water underneath
    • Remove circuit board cover
    • Dry all around and underneath as much as possible
    • Apply hairdryer for 10-15min

Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

The problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe or the pump or selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine once more before using it again.

check the pipe leading from the dishwasher to the outlet, maybe under sink. this needs to be raise up as water will flow back into washer. Had this problem myself, felt foolish when the repair man just tied it up and left. !

Dishwasher not draining, took side off but cannot get to pipes to clear them, please help!!

Have you cleaned out the screen in the bottom of the dish washer. Sometime's food will get in the drain there past screen to stop the drain up. That would be the first place to check. You could use a shop vac to get up excess water to get to drain to clean out inside unit.
If this doesn't help I have included a little information on how to remove dishwasher from cabinet to acess drain line.

If you can't acess the drain line you may have to take dish washer loose and slide out to get to it. To do this remove 2 screws that are connected from tabs's near the top of the door under the cbainet top.
Open door and look up and there should be two metal tabs with screws in them holding the washer in place. Next you will need to shut water off and disconnect the water line which will be located near the left front at bottom once you take the removable panel loose.
Also shut power off to washer and you may have to disconnect the power supply if it isn't enough wire to pull unit out. If you if has enough wire and water line you maybe able to get it out without disconecting them.
On the back side of the pump the drain line is connected to it. You may be able to take it loose from underneath, not much room if it can be taken loose with unit in place .
Anyway I hope that I have included something that maybe of some help to you.

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB2810LDC1 not draining

Sure its redeemable if you have the time and money. If I understand you correctly when you move the lowewr spray arm the water drains out? If this is the case then more than likely its a pump motor or solenoid. Reason I say this is on the bottom of the spray arm is a impeller and under that is filter and then pump impeller that drains the water. If its not draining but will by hand then its your pump motor or solenoid. When you start the washer then press cancel/drain do you hear anything? Maybe a humming sound. One more thing could be a thermal fuse for the motor. These are usually not resetable its a one time fuse if it blows you have o buy another one.Hope this helps

Dishwasher just doesnt get dishes clean anymore. some food left on dishes. there is always water pooled in bottom of dishwasher, but I've cleaned it out well at the bottom

Check your vacuum breaker. Its some times mounted up on the back of your sink. If it gets stopped up it will cause your dish washer to not drain or clean properly. Good luck.

TOP RACK DOESN'T RINSE

I would suggest you buy some CLR and run it through a full heavy cycle with the washer empty. Be sure to put it in all dispenser areas and sprinkle about 1/4 cup into the washer before starting.

Dishes not getting clean

Yes I had the same problem and just fixed it for $7.00. Did not even had to take anything apart. This is what you will have to do. If this dosen't work then try what these experts are suggesting. Please follow these steps for optimal results. #1 Break off a plastic Tea spoon. #2 Put it in place of a LATCH to by pass so you can watch the operation of the dishwasher.(put down some towels for water spill) #3 start the dishwasher on normal cycle. #4 Pour in Gallon of White Vinegar($2.00) while the Dishwasher is being filled. #5 Let it run through its cycle. After the cycle is complete water will drain out and then actual cleaning cycle will start. Then #6 while the dishwasher is being filled again pour in 48 OZ or bigger bottle of CLR (Calciam Lime Rust) it is available at Meijer, walmart, Rite Aid, Home Depot Ace Menard's etc. for $5.00. sit by the dishwasher and listen for it. if you hear water draining pull and push the water plunger so it won't drain so you don't loose your CLR down the drain. since you have the spoon in the LATCH your dishwasher will always be on so BE CAREFUL when you stick your hand in it. And after the cycle is complete enjoy your NEW DISHWASHER.
