The rebuild kit # ( ork11) is available on ebay or here:

This kit may not have all the orings but does include other parts needed. There are other kits available on ebay that would include all the orings but missing other parts.
Sometimes all you need is to open gun and clean orings and contact surfaces and lube with silicone paste (sold at Lowes in the plumbing department used to lube faucet orings). The cylinder seal on top of the cylinder and orings at cylinder spacer is usually cause of leak at nose of gun. Good luck

How do i rebuild my bostitch n80 frameing nailer

Bostitch nailers are simple to rebuild. Bostitch company was sold to Dewalt so parts are now easier to obtain from local Dewalt service center. Use Ork11 oring kit and tva6 trigger valve. These parts are also available on ebay. Good luck or your nailing projects.

Air leaks through cap vent

I had the exact same problem after doing a complete rebuild. If you are using the Stanley bostitch rebuild kit, check to see if you accidently swapped o-rings 6 and 63. They look the same but o-ring #6 is 1.925x.103 and o-ring #63 is 1.862x.103. Use plenty of lubricant. Hope this helps.

Hi air is leaking from the top of the gun thanks

If you have a very slow leak most likely the lower half of the headvalve (white plastic) is scratched. The gun will work ok but waste air. Parts are not expensive and are available from Dewalt service center. Remove head and pull out headvalve. Look for scratches where oring makes contact. If a lot of air is leaking, most likely cylinder seal needs replacing (vinyl ring installed on the headvalve) or has debris keeping it from making full contact with the cylinder. If you have lots of hours of use you may consider installing the rebuild kit. Good luck.

I put a new o ring rebuild kit in my Bostitch N80 sb framing nailer. I replaced every o-ring (including the trigger valve assembly

If the new trigger valve leaks air when you connect the air supply, most likely defective valve or air is leaking past outer trigger valve orings due to debris in the slot or new orings were cut when the valve was pushed in. If air leaks when you depress safety to fire gun then most likely problem is in the head valve or safety foot is not pushing the firing pin all the way in. Easy test, remove nails and remove the trigger to expose the firing pin. Connect air and very quickly depress the firing pin all the way in. If the gun fires, adjust the safety foot as needed. If the gun does not fire, remove the head and check headvalve orings for good snug fit against the cylinder within the head. The surface were orings make contact must be very smooth and not too deeply worn. If you notice fine scratches remove with fine sandpaper. Reinstall head using plenty of white grease on all the orings within the head and retest. Good luck

I Have a N80 Coil Nailer. It was given to me without the manual. I down loaded a manual, however it is not clear how to set the nail depth. Can you advise?

Bostitch nailers used three methods to adjust how deep the nail will set. On stick nailer, there are one or two screws on the lower contact arm allows you to shift up or down. On coil nailers and others , there is thumb screw on side or under the trigger. Finally on some coil nailers, there was a series of spacers that snapped onto nose of the gun. Good luck

I have N80 coil nailer not exact sure on what exact nail gun it is considered but it is leaking air out exhaust ports as soon as you hook air up to it and cylinder moves slow into the drive position like...

you are correct, also you want to look at the cylinder ring and also the bumpers. These tools are not that hard to rebuild. Make sure that you light grease all the o-rings before reassembly. If the bumpers (under the cylinder) are destroyed you would also need to remove any small fragments from the air tube that goes to the feed piston. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Looking for rebuild kits (parts) for my N16 nail guns. I have 3 of these older guns and would like to rebuild them.

Stanley Bostitch doesn't make kits to rebuild their nail guns, you have to order each o-ring, seal, etc. seperately. The N16 was a good gun however there are very few parts available for them. You can go to to see what's available through them. You can also get part numbers for what you need for your guns and research any available parts on the web.

My Bostitch N80 fires full auto when I hook it

I would check the safety first to make sure not stuck because this tool is a bump fire. Let me know and then I will find a kit and schematic for you or you can go to and find the parts online, but I honestly think that you have a safety issue or the trigger valve is malfunctioning.

Leak inside Bostitch N80 Nailer, won't drive nails

If the unit is leaking it most likley need a rebuild kit. Go to a Bostitch service center and ask for an ORK-11 kit. That is all the o-rings needed to do an over haul. Or just have them do it.
